I am a writer and a photographer. I enjoy/suffer through learning other languages. I've spent some time attempting to learn Japanese though I am far from fluent. I've also taken up Middle Egyptian (Hieroglyphs) recently and after a trip to the Getty Villa in November (2009) I have the urge to learn a little ancient Greek.
